clachan sands, isle of north uist wedding
The problem with moving to a new website is that you lose years and years of wedding content in one go! I planned to add all those old blog posts in here, and maybe some day I will... but they won't be my priority now because I have so much more to share!
Today I'm looking back at the wonderful wedding of Gemma and Angus. It was one of three weddings I had in North Uist that month and they all just happened to be having their receptions in sheds! I think there was still some covid restrictions though they were very loose... and lets not talk about that!!
Gemma got ready at her parents house and then the couple got married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Griminish, Isle of Benbecula. We then made the journey up to Clachan Sands beach in North Uist for some group photos and couple portraits before heading down the road to the shed outside their house for the party!! The shed looked amazing. The catering was provided by Stepping Stones Restaurant and the bar by Westford Inn. They danced the night away to Beinn Lee ceilidh band and soaked up the booze in the evening with some MacLeans bakery pies and pizzas.... a classic!
Gemma looked absolutely stunning in her Suzanne Neville dress from Eleganza Sposa and had flowers just as beautiful from Bespoke Blooms by Maybury. Angus was kitted out by MacGregor and MacDuff in MacDonald Dress Ancient tartan kilt paired with a lovat green tweed kilt jacket which complimented the kilt perfectly.
It was a perfect day from start to finish. Clachan Sands in North Uist is the perfect spot for wedding photos and family photos. It is the perfect spot for an elopement too if outdoor weddings are your vibe. The views are stunning, the sea is crystal clear and perfect for a dip!
Anyway enough rambling from me... here are some photos from their amazing day!
